I suppose there aren’t many BAD ice cream treats at Dairy Queen (or in general), but I have to shout-out Dairy Queen’s nefariously concocted S’mores Blizzard, featuring the sweet treats you’d expect: chocolate chunks, marshmallow fluff and graham crackers crunched up and whizzed through a cup of DQ soft serve.

I’m kind of a sucker for s’mores stuff in general, including the S’mores Pop Tart, but this is on another level. Just to control for my s’mores affliction, I bought a container of s’mores ice cream from a grocery store (I believe it was Edy’s, but I can’t recall now) to see if I would like it as much as I like the DQ Blizzard. I did not. In fact it fell quite a bit short of the DQ version due to a shocking lack of graham cracker.

DQ brings it, though, in good measure. I heartily endorse it as a summer indulgence for anyone in range of a Dairy Queen.
